i love my kids so much and i don't want them to grow up. as hard as life can be right now when they are young, i know it's only going to get harder, at least emotionally. right now you only have to calm their tears when they fall, get a toy taken away, or have to go to time out. the older they get the more complicated things will get. mean kids at school, confidence, body image, not being as smart as the other kids, breaking up with boyfriends and the list goes on and on. it's scary. i know there will be positive things about them being older but those are hard to think about when all you hear about is the bad. maybe i'll just lock them up in the house and never let them out unless i'm right there with them. they will just have to be each other's best friends which is the way it should be anyway.
addie and coop get a long for the most part. coop is too young to know to not go up and hit addie repeatedly, but we are working on that! addie is always wanting coop to play tag and hide and seek with her. this morning she was laying on the floor with her pillow watching a cartoon and wanted coop to come sit with her. she moved over, made room for him and put her blanket on him. it was so sweet. they are good kids and i'm so lucky to have them. i hope they are always friends and want to stay close with one other when they get older. they just better not get old very fast!

Siblings are the best! I love when they are sweet to each other and play and entertain each other. It usually ends in fighting or yelling, but it is still sweet while it lasts. Your kids are so adorable.

I can't believe how much older they both look in these pictures from the time we left Arizona! And Addie is FOUR? Nuts. They are so cute and that is so fun that they get along well.

So cute. So true. Sometimes I get so frustrated with their dependence and neediness but then I have to remember to cherish this time. When they are asleep and cute and perfect angels, it breaks my heart to think of how quickly they are growing.
